An Impasse

"A man wakes up in a strange place, it's familiar to him but he doesn't know why. He has no memory of who he is or what happened to him, all he knows is that needs to take back what he lost."

An Impasse is a horror souls-like game where you play as Nokori, an armless amnesiac who has to claw his way out of a haunted world. Fight against monsters by using unique prosthetics and weapons to gain the upper hand in this Playstation 1 style adventure.

STATUS as of 3/10/25: In early stages of production, screenshots shown are from blender renders and haven't been rendered in unity yet. Cover is a mock-up displaying the desired look I aim to achieve using the Haunted PSX Render Pipeline. This is my first real game, so my goal as of now is to have a short 1-minute long play test to add to my entry to major portfolio for my second year at university. I hope to have a demo prepared in 2026 for that year's Haunted PS1 Demo Disc game jam. Fingers crossed.
